The Polar Region comprises unique and extraordinary areas like the Arctic, Antarctic, and Himalayas. These areas have been less explored and induce interest among the researchers to study and explore these difficult-to-access regions and contribute to the soil and climatic study. The Polar Biology field of study is of interest to the scientists working in the field of ecology, biology, and physiology.
The MoU thus signed is a step to promote, collaborate, cooperate to address the opportune questions in the field of polar biology. Particularly the application of Polar microbes and their study will be of real interest to both the institutions (MOES and DBT).
